Come celebrate the 4th of July with Whoof on the Wharf at our “pawesome” spot on the South River.

From 4-7 pm, pups can try their hand (or shall we say their paw) at a little dock diving and/or paddling. Bring your own food for a picnic – we will have a grill onsite. Wine Key Experience will be back with a cash bar, as will Salty Dog and Sweet Pea Swag with all the fun dog-lover’s merchandise. At 7 pm we will have a not-so-official dock diving competition where the winner(s) will take home a summer of free kayaking or SUP rentals! A 50-50 raffle and silent auction will help raise funds for Whoof Park, a 10 acre, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog park in the works in Anne Arundel County. And best of all, reserve a kayak or SUP (or a launch pass to bring your own) along with your ticket purchase and head out on the water once the sun starts going down to watch the Almshouse Creek fireworks from the waters of the South River! Or, bring a comfy chair and settle in with us on the shore to catch the show from land. It was a great show last year! Well behaved pups (who don’t mind fireworks!) are welcome.
