This is a paddling skills class for kids ages 8-14, at our awesome clubhouse at Pier 7 marina. Pier 7 is a gated marina with multiple beaches at the intersection of the South River and Warehouse Creek. We have a clubhouse in the marina building right on the water. This class will cover basic kayak paddling strokes the first day. The remainder of the week, we will explore Warehouse Creek on kayaks and do some fun activities like relay races and scavenger hunts. Weather permitting, we’ll work in one morning when parents and well-behaved family pups can join us.

This class runs for one week, Monday through Friday from 9-11. Regular drop off is between 8:30-9:00. Early drop-off (starting at 7:30) is available, and can be purchased on site in the clubhouse as needed ($5 each time), or bought in advance for the whole week at a 20% discount at the time of registration. Registrants should know how to swim, and should bring water, sunscreen, bathing suit, hat, towel and change of clothes. We offer a 10% discount for those who register multiple kids or who register for multiple weeks. Contact us for details on how to obtain the discount!
